OFFSHORE BUSINESS PROCESSING INC. is seeking a SOC Engineer (Intrusion Detection & Response Analyst) to monitor network and endpoint security, triage alerts, and provide real-time incident response within our security operations center.

The role requires 2+ years in a similar position, familiarity with IDS/IPS, SIEM, and firewall tech, and willingness to work onsite in Ortigas or Cubao and across shifts.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in the same role.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS tools, SIEM platforms, and firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and packet analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Monitor alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR dashboards.
• Detect, investigate, and respond to suspicious activity.
• Correlate firewall logs and endpoint events to detect lateral movement.
• Coordinate IDS/IPS tuning and log source optimization.
• Execute containment playbooks for intrusions.
• Document incidents per SOC2 evidence and incident response procedures.
• Provide daily shift handover reports.

Responsibilities

Salary: 45,000 - 50,000

• Monitor network and system alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR dashboards.
• Detect, investigate, and respond to suspicious or unauthorized network activity.
• Correlate firewall logs, endpoint events, and system alerts to detect lateral movement.
• Coordinate with the SOC Engineer for IDS/IPS tuning and log source optimization.
• Execute containment playbooks for confirmed intrusions.
• Document all incidents per SOC2 evidence and incident response procedures.
• Provide daily shift handover reports.

Requirements

• Graduate of IT related course
• With at least 2 years experience with the same role
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS tools, SIEM platforms, and firewall technologies.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and packet analysis tools (Wireshark, Zeek, Suricata).
• Ok to work onsite in Ortigas and Cubao
• Ok to work in any shift schedule
