Job summary

Hammerjack Pty Ltd in Cebu City is seeking a SOC Analyst Tier 1 to join our 24x7 Security Operations Center. The role focuses on detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats affecting internal and managed customer environments.

You will monitor SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and other tools; perform triage, containment, and recovery; and develop robust detection use cases while coordinating with SOC engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Solid TCP/IP networking and enterprise protocols knowledge.
• Moderate experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IR tools.
• Familiarity with IDS/IPS and threat detection concepts.
• Experience in a 24x7 shift-based SOC environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM, SOAR, EDR to identify security events.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents including triage.
• Tune detection use cases and maintain security controls.
• Conduct threat hunting and study emerging threats.
• Document incidents per procedures and escalation.
• Collaborate with SOC Engineers to improve tooling.
