Job summary

RFA is seeking a SOC Analyst to join our Security Operations Center in the Philippines. The role involves monitoring and analyzing outputs from security tools to detect malicious activity for RFA clients, and recommending containment and remediation steps according to established procedures.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 2+ years in security/network administration, and solid knowledge of security methodologies, TCP/IP, and security tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience.
• 2+ years' experience as a Security/Network Administrator or equivalent knowledge.
• Knowledge of security methodologies and technical security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a 24x7 SOC environment.
• Monitor and analyze data from SIEM and EDR tools.
• Investigate and escalate security incidents per procedures.
• Document activities and provide status updates.
• Collaborate with analysts for situational awareness.
• Support network mapping and vulnerability scanning.
• Assist and communicate to foster teamwork.
• Contribute to process improvements and client inquiries.
