Job summary

STERRY is seeking a results-driven SMS/Email Marketing Manager to lead email lifecycle marketing for crowdfunding and ecommerce brands. You will design retention campaigns, automate flows, and personalize experiences to turn one-time buyers into loyal advocates.

The role requires 3+ years in email marketing and hands-on experience with major platforms; remote-flexible work is offered to join an innovative, fast-paced agency serving international clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
• Experience managing and optimizing automated email campaigns.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into action.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute email retention strategies to increase engagement, repeat purchases, and lifetime value.
• Build and optimize automated email flows (welcome series, onboarding, nurture campaigns, abandoned cart, win-back, re-engagement).
• Segment audiences and personalize messaging based on customer behavior and lifecycle stage.
• Monitor campaign performance and analyze metrics like open rates, CTR, conversions, retention, and churn.
• Conduct A/B testing to improve email content, subject lines, timing, and journeys.
• Collaborate with creative, content, design, and account management teams for multi-client campaigns.
• Stay ahead of email marketing trends and deliverability best practices.

What We're Looking For

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications,or related field is a plus— but what truly matters is what you can build. A standout portfolio or equivalent hands-on experience is just as valued.
• 3+ years of experience in email marketing, CRM, retention marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
• Proven experience managing and optimizing automated email campaigns.
• Hands-on experience with email marketing and CRM platforms such as Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of customer segmentation, personalization, and lifecycle marketing strategies.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret campaign data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving agency environment.
• Experience working with e-commerce, SaaS, or digital-first brands is a plus.
