Job summary

The role requires protecting surroundings from paint damage, maintaining a safe work area, and adhering to safety procedures. Additional duties may be assigned by supervision or management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, filling, patching, and repairing imperfections before painting.
• Inspect surfaces and determine the appropriate preparation and finishing requirements.
• Apply paint, primer, coatings, and finishing materials according to specifications.
• Perform repainting, touch-up, retouching, and corrective painting work as needed.
• Properly mix and prepare paint, primers, coatings, and other finishing materials.
• Ensure proper application of paint to achieve the required color, coverage, texture, and finish.
• Protect furniture, fixtures, floors, equipment, and other areas from paint damage during work.
• Inspect completed painting work and correct areas that do not meet the required quality or finish.
• Clean and properly store painting tools, equipment, and materials after use.
• Follow safety procedures when handling paints, chemicals, and other painting materials.
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety within the work area.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Service Supervisor or Management.
