Job summary

Inovus Building Solutions Inc. seeks a hardworking Skilled Helper to assist HVAC installation and related mechanical works at project sites in the Philippines.

The role requires basic knowledge of construction and HVAC activities, physical fitness, and the ability to support skilled workers on daily site operations. You will assist with ducting, piping, insulation, and equipment installation, while loading, unloading, and coordinating materials.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or vocational HVAC/mech/electrical/trade background.
• 1-3 years of experience in HVAC works, construction or mechanical trades.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC installation (ducting, piping, insulation, equipment).
• Familiar with hand and power tools and basic construction equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in HVAC system installation: ductwork, piping, supports, insulation, and equipment.
• Support skilled workers during fabrication, assembly, alignment and installation of materials.
• Perform basic trade tasks: measuring, cutting, grinding, drilling, cleaning, material handling.
• Assist in loading/unloading and storage of materials, tools, and equipment at site.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas during all installation stages.
• Follow Foreman/Supervisor/Leadman instructions to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Assist in site prep, access arrangement and material coordination for daily activities.
• Observe safety rules, proper PPE use and site housekeeping.
• Report damaged materials or unsafe conditions to supervisors.

About the role

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Skilled Helper to assist in HVAC installation and other mechanical works at project sites. The ideal candidate must have basic knowledge of construction and HVAC-related activities, be physically fit, and capable of supporting skilled workers in daily site operations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of HVAC systems such as ductworks, chilled water piping, refrigerant piping, supports, insulation, and mechanical equipment
• Support skilled workers during fabrication, assembly, fitting, alignment, and installation of materials and components
• Perform basic trade-related tasks such as measuring, cutting, grinding, drilling, cleaning, and material handlingAssist in loading, unloading, transfer, and proper storage of materials, tools, and equipment at the project site
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas before, during, and after installation activities
• Follow instructions from the Foreman, Supervisor, or Leadman to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Assist in site preparation, access arrangement, and coordination of materials needed for daily activities
• Observe and comply with project safety rules, proper use of PPE, and site housekeeping standards
• Report damaged materials, unsafe conditions, or work-related issues to immediate supervisors

About you

• At least High School Graduate or vocational course graduate in HVAC, welding, mechanical, electrical, or other trade-related fields
• At least 1-3 years of experience in HVAC works, construction, or other related mechanical trades
• Basic knowledge of HVAC installation works such as ducting, piping, insulation, or equipment installation
• Familiar with the proper use of hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment
• Physically fit and capable of performing manual work in construction site conditions
• Willing to be assigned to project sites and render overtime work when required
• Able to follow instructions and work effectively within a team
• Hardworking and willing to learn
• Good teamwork and coordination skills
