Job summary

SolarWinds is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer with 3+ years of experience to build, operate, and improve our production and internal platforms. The role requires hands-on work across AWS, Linux, and MySQL in a production environment, with a focus on reliability and automation.

You will participate in an on-call rotation, collaborate with engineering teams to deploy and optimize services, and document procedures to boost team efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in infrastructure engineering, site reliability, or related role.
• Hands-on AWS and cloud infrastructure experience.
• Strong Linux administration and production MySQL troubleshooting.
• Experience with on-call incident response and automation.
• Proficient with IaC tools and automation.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and improve production and internal infrastructure running in AWS.
• Maintain reliability through automation and disciplined operations.
• Troubleshoot Linux services and MySQL databases in production.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents.
• Collaborate with engineering to deploy and optimize infrastructure services.
• Document runbooks, processes, and standard operating procedures.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, patching, and capacity planning.
