Job summary

MONTERO98 CONSTRUCTION SERVICES is seeking a Project Engineer to assist in planning, coordination, supervision, and implementation of construction activities for our commercial building projects.

The role ensures works are executed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, contract requirements, project schedule, quality standards, safety rules, and applicable codes; you will coordinate structural, architectural, civil and MEPF works and attend meetings; oversee resources.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at the project site
• Ensure that construction works are performed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, method statements, and approved materials
• Coordinate structural, architectural, civil, and MEPF works to prevent conflicts and rework
• Conduct regular site inspections and verify actual site conditions
• Ensure proper sequencing and coordination among different trades and subcontractors
• Review construction drawings, specifications, details, and approved shop drawings
• Attend project coordination meetings, technical meetings, progress meetings, and site meetings
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and project stakeholders regarding ongoing activities
• Monitor manpower, materials, tools, equipment, and other resources required for construction activities
• Ensure that completed works are ready for inspection and subsequent activities
