Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Site Operations Lead for a 3MW project on Dinagat Island. You will supervise onsite production activities to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and performance in line with OEM recommendations and client load demands.

You’ll coordinate with Maintenance Teams, lead the Production Team, and monitor SCADA-driven load controls to drive performance improvements. The role requires reading electrical diagrams and P&IDs, strong leadership, and English communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience on a Power Project environment or in a similar role.
• Ability to read single line and electrical diagrams.
• Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
• Ability to read mechanical drawings and analyse performance data.
• Strong leadership and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor diesel generators, transformers, and related equipment to ensure continuous power.
• Ensure all QHSE policies and procedures are followed on sites (LOTO, ESR, Lifting, Tool Calibration, spill prevention, PPE).
• Assign daily production tasks per monthly shift planning.
• Monitor client load demands and coordinate with client operations teams.
• Attend meetings with customer operations teams as required.
• Provide advance notification to Service Manager if availability cannot meet demand.
• Monitor site/asset alarms and support incident resolution.
• Ensure oil samples are analysed and acted upon by Maintenance Team.
