Job summary

DMCI Homes is seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to support on-site projects in Metro Manila. The role requires a BS Civil Engineering graduate with strong analytical and organizational skills to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency on site.

Responsibilities include quality management, risk and safety practices, material and resource coordination, and oversight of subcontractors to align with project plans and budget.

Responsibilities

• Quality Management: Complies with the requirements of the approved plans and specifications of the assigned trade by conducting an inspection of the accomplished area and proper accomplishment of the checklist.
• Risk and Safety Management: Facilitates toolbox meeting. Prepares risk assessment and hazard identification/correction prior to deployment of manpower.
• Resource Management: Ensures material availability and attains target budget cost and man-hours for the trade assigned. Reviews and confirms estimate assumptions made by the Cost Engineer prior to ordering of material and implementation.
• Subcontracts Management: Reviews the Subcon Supplied Material (SSM) monitoring to ensure sufficiency of stock in line with target progress on site. Monitors subcontractor’s execution of contract provisions and provides recommendations for any deviation detected to Construction Manager.
