Job Description
- Partner with analysts and clients to enhance ServiceNow functionality, including workflows and custom applications.
- Design new ServiceNow apps and integrations using various techniques and data sources.
- Collaborate with partners to create system integrations and interfaces, including APIs and authentication methods.
- Engage with platform communities and keep current on emerging technologies and industry best practices.
- Handle software installations, setups, configurations, and data loading tasks.
- Champion ServiceNow and CMDB best practices, advocating for out-of-the-box solutions when suitable.
- Provide mentorship to junior team members.
- Suggest process enhancements and demonstrate a commitment to continuous improvement.
The Successful Applicant
- 4-8 years of experience in IT
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in any related field. Advance Degree preferred.
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in developing enterprise software and solutions
- Experience with ServiceNow instance upgrades and patches along with strategy and execution.
- Experience with integration components such as SSO, LDAP
- Experience with web technologies such as AJAX, XML, CSS, HTML, Python, Powershell, Unix, JavaScript, Web Services (SOAP, REST)
- Experience with databases and data-driven web applications
- Good understanding of Infrastructure and managing processes related to incidents, releases, and configuration
- Plus if:
- Experienced in SDLC processes
- Experienced in GCP, VMWare, or AWS Cloud Infrastructure
- Experienced in CMDB and ITSM processes
- Certification in ServiceNow (Fundamentals, Discovery, Implementation)
- Certification in ITIL v4
