Job summary

Aggreko is seeking a Service Technician - Mechanical to service generators and related engine components at our Pililla, Rizal site. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure reliability and uptime for customers' operations.

The role requires a Licensed Registered Mechanical Engineer or Certified Plant Mechanic, at least 2 years as Site Mechanic or Electrician, and willingness to travel to AIPP sites. Safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed Registered Mechanical Engineer or Certified Plant Mechanic.
• 2 years of experience as Site Mechanic / Electrician.
• Authorized to perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis on Aggreko generators and associated equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability through TPM and maintenance program implementation.
• Lead and enforce QHSE, ESR, PTW, LOTO, and site safety compliance requirements.
• Coordinate responses to mechanical failures and manage site personnel, subcontractors, visitors, and maintain client relationships.
• Monitor inventory, consumables, calibration records, and cost efficiency across site operations.
• Support employee development through training, site inductions, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

Bring your energy to Aggreko as a Service Technician - Mechanical in Pililla, Rizal. This role is responsible for the maintenance and repair of Aggreko generators & associated engine components.Carry out intermediate mechanical troubleshooting and fault diagnostics. Ensure the completion of minor repairs and major overhauls on time, to standard and within agreed budgets for both specific repairs and overall department budgets.

What you’ll do as Service Technician - Mechanical:

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and fault diagnosis on Aggreko generators and associated equipment.
• Ensure maximum equipment reliability and availability through TPM, asset maintenance planning, and maintenance program implementation.
• Lead and enforce QHSE, ESR, Permit-to-Work (PTW), LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and site safety compliance requirements.
• Coordinate responses to mechanical failures, manage site personnel, subcontractors, visitors, and maintain strong client relationships.
• Monitor inventory, consumables, calibration records, component failure reporting, and cost efficiency across site operations.
• Support employee development through training, site inductions, supervision, and continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring environmental compliance and operational excellence.

You are:

• A competent person; authorized to perform Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures safely and in compliance with site safety requirements.

• Licensed Registered Mechanical Engineer or Certified Plant Mechanic
• Able to travel to any AIPP (Aggreko International Projects Pool) site.
• 2 years of experience served as a Site Mechanic / Electrician.
