Qualifications:
- Graduate of any automotive course
- With NC1 and NC2 certification
- With at least 3 years of experience in the same field
- Knowledgeable in car parts and flexible
- Must know how to drive an automatic and manual transmission, with a valid professional driver's license
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Inspections: Conducting thorough inspections of vehicles to identify any issues or potential problems. This includes examining engines, transmissions, brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other components to ensure proper functioning and safety.
- Diagnosis and Troubleshooting: Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic problems in vehicles. This involves interpreting diagnostic codes, performing tests, and pinpointing the root cause of issues.
- Repair and Maintenance: Performing repairs and maintenance tasks based on diagnostic findings. This includes replacing worn or defective parts, performing oil changes, lubricating components, and conducting tune-ups to keep vehicles running efficiently.
- Electrical System Repair: Repairing and diagnosing electrical systems within vehicles, including wiring, circuits, batteries, and electronic components. This may involve using wiring diagrams and diagnostic equipment to trace and resolve electrical issues.
- Brake and Suspension Systems: Inspecting, repairing, and adjusting brake and suspension systems to ensure optimal performance and safety. This includes replacing brake pads, rotors, shocks, struts, and other related components.
- Engine Performance: Tuning and adjusting engines for maximum efficiency and performance. This may involve checking fuel systems, ignition timing, and emissions control systems to maintain compliance with environmental regulations.
- Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilizing a variety of hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment such as diagnostic scanners, lifts, and alignment machines. Ensuring tools are properly maintained and used safely.
- Documentation: Documenting all repairs, diagnostics, parts used, and labor performed accurately and comprehensively. This documentation may include computerized records or handwritten logs depending on the workplace.
