Job summary

The Service Technician is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of company equipment, tools, and machinery to ensure safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operations at the project site. He supports operational requirements by performing preventive maintenance and addressing technical issues promptly in compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Diagnosing mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and engine-related problems using proper tools.

Qualifications

• College diploma required.
• 1–2 years of experience in service/maintenance.
• Attention to detail is critical.
• Automotive technical knowledge required.
• Documentation and report writing skills.
• Driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, maintain, and service equipment, tools, and machinery.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical issues and repair as needed.
• Troubleshoot engine, electrical, and hydraulic systems and perform repairs.
• Follow manufacturer repair standards and safety procedures.
• Install, test, and commission equipment when required.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts replacements.
• Coordinate with Site Supervisor and Operations Manager on status and schedules.
• Assist in inventory monitoring of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by management.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspection, preventive maintenance, and servicing of equipment, tools, and machinery.

• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, or technical issues and carry out necessary repairs.

• Conduct troubleshooting for engine, transmission, brake, suspension, air system, and electrical issues

  Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns to minimize operational downtime.

• Following manufacturer repair standards and safety procedures

  Ensure proper installation, testing, and commissioning of equipment when required.

• Maintaining customer satisfaction through quality workmanship

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts replacement.

• Report major equipment issues and recommend corrective or preventive actions.

• Ensure proper handling, use, and safekeeping of tools and equipment.

• Comply with company policies, safety rules, and site-specific regulations.

• Coordinate with Site Coordinator, Mechanics, or Supervisors regarding equipment status and work schedules.

• Assist in inventory monitoring of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

• Perform other related tasks as may be assigned by management.
