Job summary

A luxury hotel in Metro Manila is looking for a Service Leader - Stewarding to assist in operations and enforce hygiene standards. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Hospitality and at least 3 years of experience in the field. Responsibilities include supervising the Stewarding Department and implementing hotel policies. The position requires creativity, strong interpersonal skills, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

  • Preferably a college graduate with a degree in Hospitality or similar.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in an international hotel.
  • Knowledgeable in P&L Report, Budgeting, and Forecasting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chief Steward in department administration and operation.
  • Implement standardized procedures and hotel policies.
  • Enforce HACCP guidelines throughout F&B operations.

Duties

The Service Leader - Stewarding is responsible for assisting the Chief Steward in the administration, operation, interdepartmental relations, communication, cost / control, hygiene & cleanliness, quality, standards, supervision, manning, staffing, training and employee relations in the Stewarding Department. He is to implement all standardized procedures, rules and regulations systematically to be in line with hotel standards and policies.

Qualifications
  • Preferably a college graduate with a degree in Hospitality or in the same capacity.
  • Preferably with minimum of 3 years experience in an international hotel in the same capacity.
  • Preferably up to date with new trends in Stewarding operations.
  • Preferably knowledgeable in F&B Equipment, P&L Report, Budgeting, and Forecasting.
  • Preferably fluent in oral and written English.
  • Strictly enforces HACCP guidelines throughout the F&B operations.
  • Creative and with an eye for details.
  • Outgoing and people oriented.
  • Motivator, self-starter and a team-builder.
  • Displays initiative and commitment to professional values.
