We’re looking for a results-driven SEO Specialist (Website & Content Growth) to take full ownership of our website’s performance—from technical optimization and link cleanup to ongoing content strategy and SEO-driven growth. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on improving visibility, cleaning up messy backends, and building organic traffic through consistent, high-quality optimization.

You’ll play a key role in increasing reach for our app, restaurant certifications, and brand partners—helping Seed Oil Scout expand its impact in the health and wellness space. If you’re a self-starter who loves diving into data, solving SEO puzzles, and creating systems that scale, this role is for you.

What You’ll Be Doing

SEO Strategy & Execution

  • Own all aspects of on-page and off-page SEO for the company website.
  • Develop and execute a content plan to drive organic traffic and engagement.
  • Conduct keyword research to identify high-impact topics for app growth, certifications, and brand visibility.
  • Audit and optimize existing content for relevance, structure, and search intent.

Technical SEO & Site Maintenance

  • Clean up broken links, redirects, and site structure to improve crawlability and user experience.
  • Ensure all technical SEO elements (metadata, schema, sitemaps, site speed) are optimized and error-free.
  • Collaborate with developers to fix backend SEO issues and improve site performance.
  • Monitor Google Search Console, analytics, and other tools to detect and resolve technical issues.

Content Optimization & Analytics

  • Partner with the marketing team to optimize blog posts, landing pages, and partner listings.
  • Implement internal linking strategies to strengthen domain authority.
  • Track keyword rankings and organic traffic growth, providing actionable insights and reports.
  • Continuously test and refine SEO tactics to maximize ROI.
Who You Are
  • 3–5+ years of experience in SEO (agency or in-house).
  • Strong technical understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO best practices.
  • Experience using Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, or similar tools.
  • Proven track record of growing organic traffic and improving site performance.
  • Strong written communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Detail-oriented, data-driven, and proactive in identifying opportunities for growth.
Bonus Points
  • Experience in foodtech, health, wellness, or app-based platforms.
  • Knowledge of local SEO for restaurant and business listings.
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or CMS optimization.
