Job summary

Cellexia Labs, a fully remote skincare brand, seeks an SEO specialist to own growth across markets by building and running our SEO from technical groundwork to content-driven rankings. Results will be measured by revenue impact and market expansion.

We expect 3+ years in SEO for e-commerce/consumer brands, with international or multi-market experience, and a strong background in beauty SKUs. Excellent written English is essential for collaboration with writers and developers.

Responsibilities

• Own the search strategy across markets, deciding priorities based on revenue potential.
• Conduct keyword research, analyze search intent, competitors, and gaps, and present a clear plan.
• Audit and improve technical SEO: speed, crawlability, indexing, structure, schema; coordinate fixes with developers.
• Create and optimize pages/content to match searcher intent and ranking signals.
• Manage international SEO, including localization and market-specific considerations.
• Monitor AI search presence and traditional search, and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Build authority through quality links and mentions to boost rankings and trust.
• Track rankings, traffic, and revenue from organic search; report what works and what doesn’t.
• Ensure product claims on pages are accurate and compliant across markets.
• Leverage AI tools to speed up research, analysis, and reporting while applying sound judgment.

Pay: PHP 90k to 120k per month

Cellexia Labs currently serves customers in markets all over the world, with our fastest-growing communities in Europe, the US, Canada, and Australia. We’re a fully remote, international team, small by design, where everyone owns something real and decisions are made by the people closest to the work.

Before anyone buys skincare, they search. They type in a skin concern, an ingredient, a question about whether something works. Whoever answers that question first, and earns the most trust, is the brand they remember when they’re ready to buy. Search finds customers at the exact moment they’re asking for what we make, and the ones who find us that way tend to stay.

This role owns that moment. You’ll build and run our SEO across every market we sell in, from the technical foundations to the pages and content that rank. It’s work that compounds: some results show up in weeks, and the biggest ones build month after month and keep paying off long after.

For a sharp, driven search specialist who wants their work judged by results, this is a rare opportunity: ownership of a growing brand’s most durable growth channel, in a company small enough that your recommendations reach the site without unnecessary layers of approval in between.

A few examples of your responsibilities

• Own the search strategy. Decide which searches we should win, in which markets, and in what order, based on revenue potential and not only traffic.


• Do the research that finds the opportunities. Dig into keywords, search intent, competitors, and gaps, especially around skin concerns and ingredients, and bring back a clear plan the team can act on.


• Keep the technical side healthy. Audit and improve site speed, crawlability, indexing, structure, and schema, then work with whoever builds our site to get fixes live.


• Make pages and content rank. Brief our writers and optimize pages and content so they match what searchers want and give search engines every reason to rank them.


• Win in every market. Handle international SEO across languages and countries, from structure to localization, so each market finds the right version of us.


• Show up in AI answers too. Track and improve how we appear in AI search tools and AI-generated results, as well as in traditional search.


• Build authority. Earn the links and mentions that make search engines and customers trust us.


• Measure what matters. Track rankings, traffic, conversions, and revenue from organic search, and report honestly on what’s working and what isn’t.


• Keep it accurate and compliant. Make sure what we claim about our products on every page is clear, truthful, and appropriate in every market.


• Move fast without cutting corners. Use AI tools to speed up research, analysis, and reporting, then apply your own judgment to make the final calls.

What we look for

• Analytical mind. You read the data and know what it means. You can tell a real trend from noise, and explain why a page rose, fell, or stalled.


• Technical depth. You’ve run audits, fixed real problems, and understand how search engines crawl, index, and rank a site. You can talk to a developer and be understood.


• Strategic thinking. You pick your battles. You know which opportunities are worth months of effort and which are traps, and you can defend your choices with evidence.


• Patience with a purpose. You’re comfortable working on things that pay off over time, and you keep the team informed while you wait.


• Ownership. You treat every page and every ranking as yours until it performs. You hold yourself to a bar that keeps rising.


• Team spirit. You support the best idea, not your own. You take feedback well and give it generously.


• Relevant experience. [3+] years in SEO for e-commerce or consumer brands, with results you can show, ideally with the numbers to prove it. Experience with international or multi-market SEO, or in beauty and skincare, is a strong advantage. Excellent written English is essential.
