Job description

We are looking for a Level 4 Software Engineer for Partner Marketing Solutions (PMS), which builds mobile client experiences and SDK components for partner advertising, campaigns, inventory, audience tags, and ad delivery across Maya apps.

At Level 4, you independently lead entire projects—not only implementation but also technical direction, cross-team coordination, and delivery accountability. You navigate dependencies across PMS squads, BFF/data platforms, and ad-network integrations, and collaborate with Product, QE, SRE, and peer engineering teams.

You bring deep expertise in Flutter on Android and iOS, complemented by native mobile development on at least one platform (Android or iOS), applied to solutioning, design, architecture, and code review.

NATURE OF WORK

In this role, you will:

• Lead mobile delivery end to end — Drive projects from requirements through design, implementation, testing, release, and production support; own solutioning, architecture, and code review for Flutter and native features in partner marketing and ad surfaces.
• Build with Flutter & native platforms — Ship Flutter on Android/iOS (widgets, state management, platform channels, plugins, SDK integrations) and native Android or iOS where depth is required (expert proficiency in either platform).
• Integrate product & ad requirements — Partner with Product to refine stories and estimates; implement campaign, inventory, targeting, and ad-format needs with Google Mobile Ads / Google Ad Manager and internal BFF/services.
• Quality, delivery & cross-team design — Code reviews, SOLID/clean architecture, unit and automated tests, static analysis, and security tooling; coordinate with Experience/Core Platform, Consumer/Business apps, and data platforms; CI/CD and store releases (Play Store, App Store, TestFlight) with SRE support.
• Modernize & mentor — Refactor complex codebases, SDK release governance, multi-platform parity, and
• continuous improvement of Flutter/native practices and test coverage.

DISPLAYED SKILL MASTERY

• Mobile engineering (Flutter & native) — Dart/Flutter (BLoC/Cubit, MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture, MethodChannel); expert Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift); mobile CI/CD with unit/UI tests, static analysis, coverage, and security testing.
• Design & architecture — Independent architectural decisions; UML or written design when needed; balances product, performance, privacy, and compliance for audience/user-tag data.
• Project leadership — Leads whole projects, sequences cross-team dependencies, and delivers outcomes beyond individual coding tasks.
• Code review, ownership & collaboration — TDD-minded, constructive reviews, store-ready releases; clear communication with Product, UX, backend, and mesh partners; mentors peers.
• Nice to have — Add-to-app Flutter, custom plugins, Fastlane/GitLab CI/CD, Firebase, Google Mobile Ads/ad-tech, REST/BFF integrations; fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, OpenAI) is a plus.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience & Education — 8+ years professional software engineering with strong mobile focus; Bachelor's in CS, IT, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Flutter Expertise — 4+ years production Flutter; strong Dart (async/await, streams, isolates), plugins, and MethodChannel/platform integration.
• Native platform expertise — Expert-level native Android or native iOS (one required at expert depth; working knowledge of both for cross-platform shipping).
• Architecture & fundamentals — SOLID, OOP, MVVM/MVP/Clean Architecture, reactive patterns as applicable, TDD, and UML documentation.
• Quality & ways of working — Unit/mobile automated testing; app distribution (Google Play, App Store, TestFlight, Firebase Distribution); Agile/Scrum and Git.
• CI/CD — Mobile CI/CD (e.g., GitLab CI/CD, Fastlane), static analysis, and security testing in the delivery path.
• Domain & nice to have — Advertising/ad monetization familiarity, Google Mobile Ads, backend or API integration experience; fluency with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, OpenAI) is a plus.
