Responsibilities

• Hands-on technical leadership: participate in design, code reviews, and solution architecture while writing code across front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
• Direct lifecycle, stability, and scaling of core business delivery applications.
• Oversee development across web services, mobile frameworks (Flutter, native iOS/Android), desktop systems (Qt, C++), and enterprise backend APIs (Java, Python, C#).
• End-to-end delivery: manage cross-functional teams, roadmaps, and sprint execution.
• Drive modern engineering practices, CI/CD automation, and robust testing frameworks.
• Leverage IT consulting methods to structure complex requirements into actionable pipelines.
• Lead and mentor software engineering leads and project managers, fostering collaboration and a strong engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

Software Engineering & Application Architecture

• Hands-on Technical Leadership: Actively participate in application design, code reviews, and solution architecture while directly writing code across core front-end, back-end, and mobile platforms.
• Platform Management: Direct the overall lifecycle, stability, and scaling of core business delivery applications, ensuring resilient, modular, and performant technical foundations.
• Multi-Stack Engineering: Oversee development across diverse environments, including web services, mobile frameworks (Flutter, native iOS/Android), desktop systems (Qt, C++), and enterprise backend APIs (Java, Python, C#).

Delivery & Project Portfolio Management

• End-to-End Delivery: Manage cross-functional engineering teams, project delivery roadmaps, resource allocations, and sprint execution to meet strategic enterprise goals.
• Methodology & Quality: Drive modern software engineering practices, code quality guidelines, CI/CD automation, and robust testing frameworks.
• Consulting Alignment: Leverage IT consulting and delivery methodologies to structure complex business requirements into actionable development pipelines.

People Leadership & Organizational Culture

• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and grow software engineering leads, developers, and project managers, fostering a highly collaborative and adaptable engineering culture.
• Strategic Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, product heads, and business stakeholders, confidently expressing technical recommendations and driving collaborative decision-making.

Requirements

Education & Professional Experience

• Tenure: 10+ years of progressive professional experience spanning software programming, full-stack development, application architecture, and technical project management.
• Dual-Track Record: Demonstrated success balancing technical coding mastery with direct people and project management responsibilities.
• Domain Background: Open to candidates from top-tier IT Consulting firms, Software Houses, or Technology Enterprises (Banking or financial services background is not required).

Technical & Coding Proficiency

• Polyglot Engineering Skills: Must maintain active coding capability with hands-on proficiency across several of the following technologies:
  • Languages: Java, JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, C#, C++
  • Frontend & Web: React.js, modern UI frameworks
  • Mobile & Cross-Platform: Flutter, Qt framework, Native Mobile development
• Platform & System Design: Deep expertise in application design patterns, API development, cloud architectures, and database structures.
