Job summary

Greenpark is seeking a talented Content Writer/Editor to join our fast-paced team in the Philippines. You will write at least two articles daily, perform self-editing, and manage a publishing schedule for beauty projects.

The ideal candidate has a Journalism/Media/Communications degree, 3–5 years writing/editing experience in English, and solid digital-media awareness with SEO knowledge. Experience leading content editors is a plus.

Qualifications

• A Journalism/ Media/ Communications degree is required.
• 3–5 years of writing and editing experience, preferably in English.
• Experience with digital media, beauty/lifestyle topics, and SEO is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write at least 2 articles per day, based on editorial brief.
• Conduct self-editing and optimize content for SEO.
• Maintain a content management system and publishing schedule.
• Support monthly content planning and ideation for clients.
• Maintain industry awareness of competitors and trends.
• Source industry experts and relevant stakeholders for article content.
• Identify local content opportunities and real-time trends.
• Implement and grow content strategy for beauty projects to meet KPIs.
• Act as brand guardian to uphold content quality.

What The Job Covers

• Write at least 2 articles per day, based on editorial brief
• Conduct self-editing and perform article optimizations (updates based on content and SEO needs)
• Maintain a content management system and publishing schedule
• Support and participate in monthly content planning and in other ideation processes as required by the client
• Maintain high industry awareness in terms of the competitive set and content excellence
• Sourcing industry experts and other relevant stakeholders for article content
• Identify local content opportunities and trends to drive relevant and newsworthy content creation in real time
• Implement, evaluate, and grow the content strategy for the beauty projects, ensuring targets and KPIs are delivered on time
• Act as a brand guardian, ensuring the highest and most resonant quality bar for the content

Who we’re looking for

• Speak fluently in English
• Journalism/ Media/ Communications degree
• 3-5 years of writing and editing experience, preferably in English
• Background in digital media and a wide vision of Beauty and lifestyle, coupled with knowledge of the Filipino Beauty Industry
• Experience of working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team of content editors/producers
• Knowledge of Google Analytics / Adwords tools is an advantage
• Inbound marketing expertise (content marketing and SEO)
