Job summary

PGA Cars, Inc. is seeking a skilled welder to join our in-person manufacturing team in Metro Manila. The role requires at least 2 years of welding experience in steel, a high school diploma or vocational degree, and familiarity with manual and power tools.

NCII certification is a plus. You will cut, weld, and inspect metal structures, following drawings and safety procedures. We offer growth opportunities, on-site parking, and health insurance as part of our benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or vocational degree required.
• NCII certification is an advantage.
• At least 2 years of welding experience in steel.
• Knowledge of using manual and power tools; ability to estimate materials.

Responsibilities

• Cut materials into required shapes, check dimensions and thicknesses.
• Weld or join metal and other materials into structures.
• Follow engineering plans, drawings and instructions.
• Operate tools, machinery and welding equipment.
• Inspect welds with precision measuring instruments.
• Dismantle metal structures.
• Clean tools, equipment and work areas.
• Wear safety clothing and protective equipment.
• Maintain inventory of welding consumables.
• Perform quality checks to ensure standards.
• Repair welded parts per engineering specification changes.
• Work in accordance with safety procedures and quality standards.
• Prioritize workflow through effective communication with management.
