Job summary

Broadridge Financial Solutions is seeking a Senior UNIX Engineer to shape and implement our UNIX/Linux infrastructure strategy. You will collaborate with vendors and partners, build OS images, automation, and CI/CD pipelines, and help ensure global production reliability.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in UNIX/Linux engineering, VMware virtualization experience, and strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Ruby, with cloud familiarity in AWS/Azure and IaC tools.

Qualifications

5+ years in UNIX/Linux engineering environments.
2+ years of AWS/Azure (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC).
5+ years of VMware-based virtualization experience.
Proficient in scripting languages Bash, Python, Ruby, Go.
Experience building CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and administer UNIX/Linux infrastructure.
Contribute to UNIX/Linux strategy and roadmap.
Plan tasks with estimates, prioritize by capacity and performance.
Collaborate with vendors and service providers.
Oversee operations and establish SOPs.
Serve as escalation point for high-severity incidents.
