Job summary

Aurecon in the Asia-Pacific region is seeking a Senior Traffic and Transportation Modeler to apply expertise on high-profile transport projects. You will develop microscopic and mesoscopic models, calibrate with TfNSW guidelines, and build data analytics and Python scripting processes to turn ideas into measurable solutions.

Qualifications

Relevant tertiary qualifications with Australian NSW transport modelling experience.
Strong analytical skills for data-driven projects including Python, SQL and GIS.
Experience with traffic modelling tools such as AIMSUN, VISSIM and SIDRA.

Responsibilities

Develop microscopic and mesoscopic models using AIMSUN software.
Lead calibration and validation of traffic models following local guidelines.
Develop SIDRA models for detailed intersection assessment.
Develop data analytics and Python scripting processes.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Aurecon’s regions.
Build strong relationships with colleagues and clients.
Turn innovative transport solutions into reality.
