Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an Associate in Margins Services Operations to manage end-to-end client service delivery for margin services clients. You will act as the first escalation point for queries and incidents, ensure compliance with control procedures, and drive remediation while partnering with internal teams to improve processes and reporting.

The role requires 4+ years in settlements or collateral operations, strong financial markets knowledge, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years in settlements, trade support, middle office, or collateral operations in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of global financial markets and collateral management.
• Advanced Excel skills; comfortable with metrics, exception tracking, and trend analysis.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to build trusted relationships.
• Analytical, independent, reliable decision-maker with ownership and controls focus.
• Able to prioritize under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational work follows control procedures with daily checklists and sign-offs.
• Escalate issues and drive resolution with internal and external partners.
• Own end-to-end client inquiries and coordinate internal actions for timely responses.
• Act as first-level escalation for clients and internal contacts during operational events.
• Maintain an issue log, perform root cause analyses, and implement remediation to prevent recurrence.
• Contribute to management reporting and KPI/MIS analysis.
• Track trends in work volumes and errors; document issues and propose solutions.
• Coordinate client communications for change requests and operational projects.
• Address inquiries related to reporting, audits, and ad hoc files; educate clients as needed.
• Prepare materials for service reviews and represent Operations in client discussions.
• Coordinate cross-team efforts for client satisfaction surveys and action planning.
