Job summary

SimCorp Manila is seeking a Service Delivery Consultant with testing and test automation expertise to join our Validation and Test delivery unit. You will evaluate complex business requirements, design test cases, and ensure quality across upgrade projects for financial clients.

Hybrid work arrangement is in place (2x a week in office). A relevant ISTQB qualification is recommended, with 4–7+ years of testing experience and familiarity with SQL and MS Office to support enterprise testing efforts.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and understand upgrade and implementation project artifacts, including requirements and scope, test plan and strategy, documentation, and reporting.
• Support all phases of SimCorp Dimension upgrade and implementation project processes
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on analyzed project artifacts
• Monitor, report, and compare actual test outcomes vs. expected results
• Provide incident management for failed tests through the defect lifecycle
• Participate in test automation and cloud-based testing methodologies
• Collaborate closely with product development and business units at SimCorp
• Participate in pre-testing kickoffs with clients and document detailed workflows for efficient test implementation

SimCorp is transforming the way we deliver services to our clients. We are looking for a highly motivated Service Delivery Consultant with skills in testing and test automation. You will work in our global Validation and Test (V&T) delivery unit consisting of cross-located teams delivering high quality testing services embedded into Configuration and Upgrade projects. V&T is a client facing part of the SimCorp Global Managed Services organization. In this role, you are to evaluate complex business requirements, design and implement test cases, conduct meetings with customers, ensure incident management and test results reporting. WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR

• Analyze and understand upgrade and implementation project artifacts, i.e. customer’s requirements and scope, test plan and strategy, documentation, and reporting, etc.
• Support all phases of SimCorp Dimension upgrade and implementation project processes
• Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on analyzed project artifacts
• Perform, monitor, and control prepared test cases and thoroughly report actual test outcomes vs expected results
• Provide incident management for failed tests via reporting detected issues and carrying them out through the whole defect lifecycle
• Participate in test automation, application of up-to-date tools and methodologies in testing including cloud-based solutions
• Collaborate closely with product development and business units at SimCorp
• Participate in pre-testing kickoffs with clients identifying and documenting detailed workflows for efficient test implementation

WHAT WE VALUE

• Degree within Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, Maths.
• Knowledge of software upgrade and implementation project processes, Software Testing Life Cycle, incident management, standard test deliverables.
• Have 4 to 7+ year experience in testing role working on complex systems most effectively within a financial domain.
• Previous experience in test automation would be beneficial.
• A relevant software testing qualification/s e.g. ISTQB (or equivalent) is recommended.
• Unsupervised design, development and implementation of test automation scripts is beneficial.
• Familiar with SQL able to write basic scripts to manipulate data.
• Comprehensive knowledge of MS Office Applications.
• Ability to carry out tasks alone as well as in a cross-functional team.
• Understanding of the Agile practices and frameworks.
• Familiarity with SimCorp Dimension benefits candidates, though it's not a mandatory requirement.
