Job summary

Collins Aerospace in the Philippines is seeking an experienced Manufacturing/Test Engineer to support LAVS 3.0 NPI and production readiness. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing, Test, Product, or Process Engineering.
  • Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) and product launches.

Responsibilities

  • Support NPI by establishing and validating robust test processes for new products.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing test procedures to ensure product compliance.
  • Support production readiness by ensuring test equipment, processes, and documentation are available prior to product launch.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to translate product requirements into effective test solutions.
  • Adhere to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site.

Responsibilities
  • Support LAVS 3.0 New Product Development activities (Group B onwards) by establishing and validating robust test processes for new products.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing test procedures to ensure product compliance with design and customer requirements.
  • Support production readiness activities by ensuring test equipment, processes, and documentation are available prior to product launch.
  • Collaborate with Engineering teams to review product requirements and translate them into effective test solutions.
  • Adheres to participate in all EHS practices and standards across the site, including but not limited to proactive reporting of observed hazards and recommendations to ensure the safety and well-being of self and others.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Product Engineering, or Process Engineering.
  • Experience supporting New Product Introduction (NPI), product launch, or manufacturing deployment activities.
  • Knowledge and experience in manufacturing test processes, ATP testing, PLC, troubleshooting, and validation activities.
  • Experience in analyzing test data, improving FPY, and implementing corrective actions.
  • Familiarity with manufacturing systems such as MES, ERP/MRP systems, and production data tracking tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with experience using Root Cause Analysis tools (8D, 5 Why, Fishbone).
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering analysis tools.
