Job summary

Lennor Metier is seeking a Senior Tax Specialist (Import and Distribution) to manage end-to-end Philippine tax compliance for multiple entities onsite in Pasay. The role covers VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and other returns, ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting.

You will maintain statutory books, support transfer pricing, handle BIR audits, and monitor regulatory changes, coordinating with internal teams and external authorities to optimize tax positions across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Philippine taxation, particularly in tax compliance, reporting, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong hands-on experience in preparing and filing Philippine tax returns, including VAT, withholding tax, income tax, and percentage tax.
• Experience handling BIR audits, tax assessments, and related documentation.
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws, BIR regulations, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience maintaining tax records, statutory books, and supporting schedules.
• Ability to manage multiple tax deadlines and ensure accurate and timely compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Philippine tax compliance, including the preparation, review, and filing of VAT, withholding tax, income tax, percentage tax, and other applicable tax returns.
• Maintain statutory books, tax records, and supporting documentation, ensuring compliance with BIR regulations, CAS, and electronic invoicing requirements.
• Support tax planning and transfer pricing activities, including preparation of transfer pricing documentation and entity reviews.
• Handle and coordinate BIR audits, tax assessments, investigations, and rulings with supporting documents.
• Monitor changes in Philippine tax laws and regulations and identify potential tax risks across multiple entities.
