You will connect regional operations with Group requirements, translating data into actionable insights for decision-makers and strengthening governance.

The role covers consolidation, statutory reporting, tax calculations, audits, and cross-functional collaboration across units in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 6 years post-qualifying experience as a CPA/CA/CTA with articles.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• Certified Public Accountant.
• Advanced Excel skills with evidence of modeling.
• Oracle and Hyperion experience non-negotiable.
• Good IFRS knowledge with tax understanding.
• International Tax exposure is an advantage.
• Excellent people management and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Consolidation of month-end financial information and reporting to stakeholders.
• Uploading Actual, Forecast, and Budget onto Hyperion & Prevero.
• Assist in preparation and consolidation of annual financial statements and statutory reporting.
• Review Intercompany transactions ensuring tax & statutory compliance.
• Local contact for Global counterpart regarding Hyperion & reporting queries.
• Preparation of financial input for quarterly Board and EXCO packs.
• Integration of commercial and financial reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Participate in monthly/quarterly reviews of Business Units.
• Support merger & acquisition activities as required.
• Help manage statutory structures of WSP Africa and related entities.
• Role model SHEQ standards and promote safe working environment.
