ConnectOS in the Philippines is seeking an experienced senior accountant to support Australian clients with accounting and tax compliance. You will prepare financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders using Xero and related tools.

Qualifikationen

• 4+ years Australian accounting and tax experience.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for multiple entities.
• Experience with multi-entity groups and private businesses.
• Strong skills in Xero, Excel, and BGL Simple Fund 360.
• Able to review workpapers and junior staff output.
• Solid understanding of Australian tax and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage deadlines.

Aufgaben

• Prepare annual financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders in Xero.
• Prepare income tax returns for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals.
• Prepare BAS, IAS, and GST reconciliations as needed.
• Complete balance sheet and tax reconciliations and supporting schedules.
• Take ownership of compliance jobs from start to review-ready file.
• Review prior year files and maintain clear, logical workpapers.
• Review work by junior accountants and provide constructive feedback.
• Identify missing information and escalate risks early.
• Collaborate with Australian managers and team members.
