Job summary

Cloudstaff Philippines Inc. is seeking a Senior AU Tax Accountant to work from home in the Philippines.

The role involves handling a wide portfolio of Australian clients, including SMEs, trusts, partnerships, and companies, with a focus on tax compliance and advisory within a virtual team. You will work on tax returns, GST/FBT compliance, and financial statement preparation, while ensuring high-quality documentation and client service.

Qualifications

• Accounting degree or related degree with accounting major.
• CA/CPA qualification in progress or achieved.
• 7+ years of accounting and taxation experience in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tax returns, activity statements, and comply with Australian tax rules.
• Prepare work papers and reconcile to financial statements.
• Prepare financial statements and lodgements for entities to complex levels.
• Assist clients with tax planning and payroll-related taxes (FBT, STP).
• Support business advisory projects including budgets and cashflows.
