Best Practice Group is seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join an Australian public accounting firm as a permanent, full-time Virtual Assistant working from home. This is a remote, long‑term opportunity with stable employment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in Australian public practice, strong expertise in Australian tax returns and BAS, and proficiency in MYOB and XERO. You will work independently, liaise with clients, reconcile accounts, and ensure lodgement deadlines are met with

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in an Australian public practice firm.
• Strong experience preparing Australian tax returns and BAS.
• Good understanding of Australian tax and accounting compliance.
• Experience with individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
• Proficient in accounting/tax software such as MYOB and XERO.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Able to work independently and remotely.
