Job summary

WSP Philippines seeks an experienced Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for power and energy projects, including substations and renewable energy connections. The role requires coordinating across disciplines and delivering compliant documentation.

With approximately 8+ years in structural engineering, you will apply space-gass/ETABS-style tools and align with Australian standards while mentoring junior staff and contributing to project success.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
Approximately 8+ years of relevant structural engineering experience, preferably within a consulting or design environment.
Experience delivering work to Australian requirements is strongly preferred.
Professional engineering registration is desirable.
Strong experience in structural analysis, design and design documentation for steel and reinforced concrete structures.
Experience with foundations and support structures for substations or electrical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Deliver structural analysis and design for power and energy projects, including high-voltage substations and renewable energy connections.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, geotechnical, architectural, mechanical and drafting teams to resolve interfaces and deliver integrated outcomes.
Prepare and review structural calculations, design reports, specifications, drawings, schedules, and construction documentation.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
