Job summary

ICON plc is looking for a Senior Statistical Programmer (R Programming) to join as a homebased professional. You will lead statistical programming tasks, develop SAS programs, and collaborate with biostatisticians to define analysis plans for clinical trial data.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in statistics/CS/math, at least 3 years of statistical programming experience, strong SAS, and basic R skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in statistics, computer science, mathematics, or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in statistical programming, preferably in a clinical research or pharmaceutical setting.
Strong proficiency in SAS programming; basic proficiency in R for clinical studies.

Responsibilities

Lead statistical programming tasks with focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Develop and validate SAS programs for analysis and reporting of clinical trial data.
Collaborate with biostatisticians to define analysis plans and statistical methods.
Perform quality control checks on statistical outputs and ensure accuracy in reporting.
Assist in the preparation of statistical reports, presentations, and regulatory submissions.
Identify and drive process improvements in programming practices and methodologies.
