Job summary

iSupport Worldwide is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Staff Accountant in the Philippines to join the team. You will manage journal entries, bank reconciliations, and financial reporting while supporting month-end and year-end close processes.

The role requires strong analytical skills, independence, and teamwork. CPA consideration is preferred, with experience in property management or hotel-related accounting highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA certification or working towards CPA preferred.
• Solid experience in property management / residential / hotel business is a plus – Hotel Experience is priority.
• Knowledge of bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations and other account reconciliations.
• Strong understanding of Accounts Receivable and/or Accounts Payable.
• 3–7 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience with end-to-end accounting and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries in the general ledger.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Analyze financial data and provide variance explanations.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Prepare documentation for external audits.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
• Maintain and update accounting records and files.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
