Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Principal Engineer for FPT Validation to define test plans, design cases, and develop scripts for validating firmware on Enterprise and Datacenter NVMe SSD products.

You will partner with Firmware so projects progress from plan to closure while addressing NVMe specs, security, and advanced testing methodologies. You will work across Front End, Back End, FTL, and Security areas, demonstrating excellent problem solving and project management while communicating

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Define Test Plan/Design, test cases and develop Test Scripts to validate Firmware for Enterprise and Datacenter NVMe SSD products.
• Collaborate with Firmware development teams through product lifecycle; drive validation plans/strategy and track results.
• Review, document test results and drive issues to closure with other product teams.
• Communicate status, issues and strategies of programs with stakeholders.
