Job summary

Latitude.sh is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our reliability team working remotely on a contract basis. You will focus on building reliable, observable, and self-healing systems at scale for our global bare metal cloud.

You will design tools to automate operations, improve incident response, and enhance system observability, ensuring readiness for customer workloads. Strong automation and cloud-native skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Clear verbal and written English communication.
• Advanced Linux/Unix production experience.
• Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Automation for infrastructure tasks and incidents.
• Observability stack know-how (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, ELK).
• Scripting with Bash, Python, Go, or Ruby.
• Git and CI/CD pipelines experience.

Responsibilities

• Continuously improve platform reliability and performance.
• Design, build, and maintain automation for operations and incidents.
• Implement observability with monitoring, alerts, and tracing.
• Lead on-call rotations and post-incident reviews for learning.
• Define and refine SLOs/SLIs and reliability metrics across teams.
• Collaborate with ENG and platform teams for scalable systems.
• Document runbooks and operational processes.
