In this full-time role, you will support the Head Chef in overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring exceptional food quality and service.
What you'll be doing
Assist the Head Chef in managing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, menu planning, and staff supervision
Ensure all kitchen staff adhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards
Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items that align with the company's culinary vision
Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary supplies and ingredients
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role within the hospitality/restaurant industry
Strong culinary skills and a deep understanding of food preparation techniques, presentation, and flavour profiles
Excellent leadership and communication abilities to effectively manage a team of kitchen staff
Passion for creating delicious, high-quality food and providing exceptional customer service
