Job summary

SUMEC PHILIPPINES is seeking a senior Renewable Energy Project Engineer with a strong background in utility-scale wind and solar deployments. You will lead electrical design, perform string sizing, inverter selection, and optimize DC/AC ratios to maximize efficiency and safety on large-scale sites.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of five years in renewable projects, deep knowledge of SLDs, protection coordination, and hands-on experience with AutoCAD or PVcase, PVsyst, and HelioScope to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, renewable engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in renewable energy projects
• Must have experience with both solar and wind renewable energy technologies
• Ability to perform string sizing, inverter selection, and DC/AC ratio optimization for utility-scale projects
• Experience must be specifically with utility-scale projects only
• Deep understanding of single-line diagrams (SLDs), three diagrams, voltage drop calculation, and protection and protection coordination.
• Expert-level AutoCad (2D/3D) or PVcase for layout automition and terrain-following designs.
• Profeciency in PVsyst and HelioScope ground-mount system.
