Job summary

Rivada Space Networks is seeking a Senior Software Solutions Architect to lead the design and engineering of the Digital Twin software, overseeing technical management and ensuring alignment with business needs.

You will drive architectural decisions, model development, system integration, and data/AI analytics while providing leadership across teams in a dynamic, space-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
• At least 10 years of professional experience and 5 years with a focus on simulations and digital twin domains.
• Experience as a software solutions architect in the space sector.
• Strong programming knowledge: Python, C++, C#, Java.
• Understanding of mathematical modelling, simulation techniques and algorithms.
• Experience with UI design for simulation software applications.
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum.
• Excellent communication and ability to coordinate with internal teams.
• Willingness to travel and work in a dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define the Digital Twin strategic vision and ensure enterprise alignment.
• Design and specify software architecture including model development.
• Oversee system integration and interoperability.
• Assess data and AI analytics for scalable architecture.
• Provide technical leadership to development teams.

Your mission

We areseekinga highly skilled and experiencedSeniorSoftwareSolutions Architectfor theSoftware Solutionsto join our dynamic and innovative team. You willbe responsible forthe designand the engineering solution as well asthetechnical management of theDigital Twinsoftware, ensuring it meets our business needs.The Digital Twinincludes the end-to-end simulationand virtual modelsofphysical assets,processesand systems ofRivadaconstellation.

This includes

• Defining theDigital Twinstrategic visionand ensuring enterprise alignment including e.g.:
  • Softwareroad map: Defines the multi-year strategywith a realistic and progressing approach to integrate the different building blocks of the Digital Twin.
  • Vendor management: Evaluatesbetween in-house developed solutions and 3rdparty softwareproviders, integration tools to get the best value and avoidvendorslock-in.
• Designing and specifying thesoftwaretechnical architectureincluding e.g.:
  • Architecturaldesign: Develop andmaintainthe overall software architecture, ensuring it aligns with the strategic goals and technical standards.
  • Modeldevelopment:Definebehaviouralmodels, simulations, and visual environments for physicalassets,processesandsystems.
  • Systemintegration: Oversee the integration of various software components and3rdparty systems, ensuring seamless interoperability.
  • Dataand AIanalytics:Assessment of scalablearchitectureto supportmassivedatamanagement,workflowsandprocesses, including the use of AIframeworks.

• Continuoustechnologyevaluationwith emerging technologies and industry trends,includingthe use ofAI tooling and modern tech stacksforoptimalperformance and cost efficiency.
• Implementingproof ofconceptsto designand prototype solutions (including AI) tovalidatetechnical feasibility and demonstrate value before full-scale production.
• Providingtechnicalleadershipand guidance to development teams, ensuring projects are implemented effectively and efficiently.
• Preparingfinancial engineeringforcostoptimisation andbudgetforecasting.

What you bring on the table

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science,engineering,or related field.
• At least10 years of professional experienceand5 yearswith a focus on simulations and digital twin domains,defining technical architecturesand deployment solutions.
• Valuableexperience asasoftwaresolutions architector in thespace sector.
• Good knowledge in programming languages such as Python, C++,C#,Java, etc.

• Experience with user interface design for simulation software applications.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
