Job summary

Private Advertiser in Makati, Philippines seeks a Senior Software Engineer to design and build web applications and backend services across multiple products. You will own features end-to-end, from design through deployment and iteration, while contributing to shared standards and scalable architecture.

You will work with product owners, designers, mobile engineers, and QA to translate requirements into working software, review code, and help raise engineering quality across teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping web products.
• Strong command of a modern backend language and framework (e.g., Node.js/TypeScript with NestJS, or equivalent) and a modern frontend framework (e.g., React/Next.js).
• Solid experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar), including data modeling and query optimization.
• Experience designing and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Working knowledge of cloud infrastructure, containerization (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with authentication, authorization, and secure coding practices.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver in a fast-moving, multi-project environment.
• Preferred: experience taking a product from zero to one and scaling existing systems.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Because ventures move fast and vary in maturity, you'll shape architecture from the ground up on some products and harden, scale, or extend others already in production.
