Finastra, a global financial services software leader, is hiring an Expert QA Engineer in Manila. The role drives test strategy, builds scalable automation across UI, API, and integration layers, and leads QA practices within cross‑functional teams. You will mentor engineers, champion quality, and improve testing with AI‑enabled automation.

You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Architecture to ensure high quality releases and continuous improvement throughout the SDLC.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of advanced QA or Quality Engineering experience across manual and automation testing.
• Proficient in SQL and relational database validation.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, SDLC, STLC, and automation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive test strategies, test plans, and high‑coverage test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reusable automated test suites across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Enhance automation frameworks and support CI/CD integration to improve test efficiency and speed.
• Execute both manual and automated tests, analyze results, and drive defect triage and root‑cause analysis.
• Set up, configure, and maintain test environments; create and execute SQL scripts for data validation.
