Job summary

Med-Metrix is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and install software solutions that meet healthcare data handling and security requirements. You will work with C# .NET, .NET 6+, AWS services, and Blazor while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable software products.

Role involves deploying and maintaining robust applications, writing efficient SQL, and participating in CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of experience with C# .NET and hands-on experience in .NET 6+
• Proficient in IDEs such as Visual Studio or JetBrains Rider
• Strong knowledge of AWS services (S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, IAM, Athena, Glue, SQS, SNS, Step Functions, Comprehend, Textract)
• Experience with PostgreSQL/Aurora or other relational databases
• Skilled in writing efficient SQL queries and analyzing execution plans
• Understanding of event-driven architecture and asynchronous workflows
• Experience designing HTML, JavaScript and Blazor applications
• Basic Terraform knowledge for infrastructure as code
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Strong communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities

• Implement all aspects of an application design including high performance design, security, and testing
• Develop framework and processes for projects using existing technologies
• Develop efficient stored procedures and SQL queries
• Evaluate and improve application performance
• Coordinate requirements, software design and implementation of projects
• Deliver for customer experience improvements in deployment and development
• Perform unit and system testing on applications
• Collaborate with product, design, and services teams
• Attend to customer escalations
• Develop automation tools, utilities and scripts
• Comply with HIPAA policies and PHI handling requirements
