Job description

Core Profile A Senior Software Engineer responsible for building and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performing payment, settlement, reconciliation, and integration platforms. The role independently leads technical initiatives, drives engineering excellence, collaborates across cross-functional teams, and leverages AI-assisted development tools responsibly to improve software delivery and quality.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and support backend services and payment platforms. Deliver secure, scalable, fault-tolerant, and compliant solutions aligned with business and platform requirements

Lead medium to large engineering initiatives, manage technical dependencies, and collaborate with Product, Business, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams. Build integrations with payment channels, settlement systems, financial platforms, and enterprise services. Drive software quality through automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, observability, and continuous improvement.

Utilize approved AI-assisted engineering tools to enhance productivity, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation while maintaining security and quality standards. Required Skills 7+ years of software development experience in enterprise or mission-critical systems.

Strong expertise in Java, Kotlin, JVM-based technologies, OR TypeScript/Node.js. Experience with Spring Boot, REST APIs, distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and Kafka or similar technologies. Strong knowledge of SQL databases, cloud platforms, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.

Excellent problem-solving, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills. Success Measures Deliver reliable, scalable, and compliant payment and settlement solutions.

Successfully lead technical initiatives from design through production support. Maintain high software quality through automation, testing, and engineering best practices. Ensure adherence to security, regulatory, audit, and operational standards.
