Job summary

Mark43, a Boston-based company, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to advance applied AI through scalable internal tools and integrations. You will work at the intersection of IT, security, and business operations, delivering production-ready AI capabilities and secure workflows.

You will be part of the Information Security team, collaborating with Product, Finance, Operations, and Customer Success, with a hybrid schedule (2 days in Boston office) and remote-friendly policy depending on role

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering or related roles.
• Ability to design scalable systems for production use.
• Experience with AI technologies and integrating them into applications and workflows.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy a reusable AI-powered service or integration enabling a business team to automate a critical workflow.
• Design and implement connectors between AI systems and internal or third-party platforms such as Salesforce or Workday.
• Partner with stakeholders to identify high-impact opportunities and translate them into scalable internal tools or workflows.
• Improve reliability and performance of existing AI-enabled systems by debugging across APIs, services, and infrastructure.
• Evaluate new AI tools or frameworks and advise on secure adoption at scale.
• Partner with InfoSec to ensure systems meet security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Lead sessions or demos to help teams understand and adopt new AI capabilities.
• Build reusable components and patterns to accelerate AI adoption across teams.
