Senior Software Engineer – Algorithms & Cognitive AI

Direct Contractor: MXN $36,000 – $43,000/month

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with exceptional algorithmic programming skills and strong software engineering fundamentals to help build a new generation of cognitive AI technology.

This role is not focused on traditional Machine Learning or AI model development. Instead, you'll work on foundational software architecture, complex computational problems, algorithm design, and advanced object-oriented programming.

The engineering team is developing a new cognitive AI architecture designed to move beyond traditional LLM-based approaches, reducing reliance on massive datasets and statistical models. This is an opportunity for an engineer who enjoys solving difficult technical challenges and building foundational technology from the ground up.

What You'll Do

• Design, develop, and implement complex software systems and algorithms.
• Solve challenging computational problems through strong analytical thinking and engineering principles.
• Apply object-oriented programming concepts and software design best practices.
• Build foundational technology for advanced cognitive AI systems.
• Review technical concepts, research materials, and emerging approaches related to language understanding and reasoning systems.
