Job summary

ECLARO in the Philippines is seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to design, build, and evolve a data platform spanning ingestion, ETL, big data, APIs, and AI-assisted workflows.

You will deliver robust, testable code for web and mobile interfaces, collaborate with Product and Design, and help shape scalable cloud-native solutions on GCP/AWS with Kubernetes.

This role emphasizes rapid iteration, code quality, and mentoring teammates in a dynamic, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related field or work equivalent.
• Knowledge of Java, Python, React, Node.js and RESTful/GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with relational, NoSQL and Graph databases and cloud platforms.

Sr. Software Engineer

Job Overview

The primary duty of this position is to design, build, shape, and enhance the always-evolving platform of acquiring, processing, enhancing, and delivering data to customers. This full-stack engineering role spans ingestion, ETL, big data solutions, ultra-efficient APIs, and web and mobile applications using AI-assisted development workflows. We build iterative solutions with properly tested code in an environment oozing with team camaraderie, facilitating squad rotation to fulfill both product needs and career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Write clean, testable, and readable code
• Fail fast and use code refactoring in everyday practices
• Handle both routine and complex technical and data challenges
• Build client-facing/internal tools integrated with AI models for an enhanced user experience
• Efficiently ingest, normalize, and transform large amounts of data
• Automate routine and repeated processes wherever possible

Requirements: Education & Experience

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science or a related field (or work equivalent)
• Knowledge in some of the following areas or related technologies and concepts:
  • o Java, Python, React, and Node.js
  • o RESTful and GraphQL APIs
  • o Relational, NoSQL, and Graph databases
  • o Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Amazon Web Services (AWS), Kubernetes
  • o CI/CD frameworks
  • o Familiarity with AI integration tools.
• Experience with Client industry is a plus
