Job summary

SOFTGIC is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design, develop, and lead scalable software solutions using C#, React, and modern databases. You will mentor engineers, guide architecture decisions, and drive best practices across backend and frontend teams.

You will work on RESTful APIs, cloud integrations, and performance optimizations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet business goals and deliver high-quality software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer.
• Strong expertise in: C#, ASP.NET, React, SQL Server, PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with: Entity Framework Core, RESTful APIs, OAuth, Hangfire, External API integrations.
• Deep understanding of: SOLID, OOP, DRY, YAGNI.
• Strong software architecture and scalable system design experience.
• Advanced knowledge of database design, SQL optimization, and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS and Azure).
• Experience using Docker and Docker Compose.
• Knowledge of Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Proven experience leading technical projects and mentoring software engineers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
