Job summary

ISS STOXX in Makati City is seeking a senior Security Engineer to safeguard the firm's data, systems, and networks. You will design, implement, and monitor security controls, collaborate with global teams, and drive security improvements across the organization.

The role requires hands-on security engineering with 5–10 years of experience and proficiency in multiple SIEMs and security platforms. Hybrid work arrangement and on-call rotation are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of Security Engineering experience.
• Hands-on security engineering experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring security controls.
• Experience with at least two of the listed SIEM/security platforms.
• Vendor and/or vendor-neutral certifications such as Microsoft SC-200/SC-100, CyberArk, Zscaler, CASP+, SSCP.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to coordinate with vendors and global teams.
• Strong administrative and time-management skills; capable of meeting deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, manage, monitor, and upgrade security measures for data, systems, and networks.
• Troubleshoot security and network related problems.
• Respond to system and/or network security issues.
• Ensure protection by enabling appropriate security controls.
• Participate in change management processes.
• Test and identify network/system vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate security requirements and establish best practices and standards.
• Daily administrative tasks, reporting, and stakeholder communication.
