Job summary

AboitizPower is seeking a Safety, Health, and Environment Business Partner Manager based in Toledo, Philippines. This managerial role leads planning, development, and implementation of health and safety programs and collaborates with the SH&E team to deliver results and community impact.

You will act as the Safety Officer, develop BU-wide training, conduct audits, ensure emergency preparedness, and drive ISO compliance across multiple standards while leading a skilled safety team.

Qualifications

• Registered Engineer and DOLE-Accredited Safety Officer certifications are required.
• At least 3 years of Safety Engineer experience in power/ heavy industry.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety, and fire codes and ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the mandated Safety Officer for the company, ensuring compliance with health and safety rules and representing AboitizPower with regulatory agencies.
• Develop and manage BU-wide safety and emergency response training programs and initiatives.
• Lead regular and thorough safety audits of workplace structures, machinery, and work practices.
• Audit and maintain the readiness of emergency preparedness drills, fire detection systems, and site medical facilities.
• Ensure continuous compliance with environmental criteria and vital ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 27001, 55001, 50001, and 22301).
• Lead, train, and motivate a dedicated safety team, resolving work issues and conducting performance appraisals.
