At DXC Spain we are looking for a Security Engineer.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Act as L3 technical reference within the SOC and managed security services
• Handle and resolve complex cybersecurity incidents (L3 level)
• Design, evolve and harden security architectures (on‑premise and cloud)
• Participate in cybersecurity projects (deployments, migrations, improvements)
• Manage and optimize advanced security technologies, including:
  • EDR/XDR (e.g. SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, Microsoft Defender)
  • SIEM/SOAR (e.g. Sentinel, Splunk, QRadar)
  • Firewalls/WAF (e.g. Fortinet, Palo Alto)
  • SASE / SWG / CASB (e.g. Netskope, Zscaler)
• Support service transitions and implementation of new security capabilities
• Act as escalation point for L1/L2 teams and provide technical mentorship
• Engage with clients (workshops, troubleshooting, reporting)
• Contribute to the implementation of security solutions in client environments
• Participate in on‑call rotations when required

Required Skills

• +7-10 years of experience in cybersecurity
• Previous experience as: L3 SOC / Senior Security Engineer, or Technical Security Architect / Consultant (hands‑on)
• Strong hands‑on experience across:
  • Design, implementation and operation of security solutions
  • Enterprise environments, multi‑client setups or MSSP
• Solid knowledge in several of the following areas:
  • Network Security (Firewalls, IDS/IPS)
  • Endpoint Security (EDR/XDR)
  • SASE / Cloud Security (Netskope, Zscaler, CASB)
  • Public Cloud (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Security across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS environments
  • Microsegmentation (e.g. Guardicore)
  • Infrastructure as Code / automation
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to work in complex environments and manage multiple priorities
• Customer‑oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• Proactive, autonomous and team‑oriented attitude
• English level B2+
